Limonium on klassikko isoäidin puutarhasta, mutta myös kuivakukkien ikivihreä suosikki. Me viljelemme limoniumeja sadoittain! Se on todella hyödyllinen kimppuihin täytemateriaalina, ja kuivaamattomanakin se säilyy pitkään maljakossa. Heti kun kaikki kukat varressa ovat kukkineet, limonium ei enää lakastu ja sopii seppeleisiin, korsseihin ja sidoksiin. Yksi kasvi tuottaa vähintään 15 vartta.
Kuivausta varten keräämme limoniumin vaiheessa, jossa varren on tukeva kukan alla ja kukinto on kokonaan avautunut. Ripusta ne vain pää alaspäin kuivaan ja ilmavaan paikkaan, poissa auringonvalosta.
